Flash/AS3 Game Developer

The Flash/AS3 Game Developer will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and documenting the front-end software for Goofball Game’s upcoming web based arcade-style game. He or she will work closely with the design team and read all design documentation in order to fully understand the project requirements. He or she will also work very closely with the Lead Backend Developer, clearly communicating client/server APIs and integration details. The Flash/AS3 Game Developer will follow focused direction from Goofball Game’s Director of Game Development, taking guidance in order to establish a clear understanding of the programming tasks required, and implementing appropriate feedback when necessary.

The primary development environment for this project will involve Flash/ActionScript 3, but other requirements may be subject to change as client needs shift, or as the result of the Director of Game Development’s (or the Flash/AS3 Developer’s own) architecture decisions. Some light HTML/CSS development may also be required.

Candidates with at least 2 years of Flash game development will be considered.
